“The Chorale is my musical family in Phoenix and one I look forward to being with every week.”

What does being a Phoenix Chorale singer mean to you?
I first learned of the Phoenix Chorale when I was in Louisiana. I was in a public library in Baton Rouge during the summer of 2009 when I came across the CD "Spotless Rose." I had never heard such an incredible sound and was immediately hooked. It was always a dream of mine to sing with a group like the Chorale, but being in Louisiana, I knew that was not a possibility. Fast forward 6 years where I joined the Phoenix Chorale after moving to Phoenix. The Chorale is my musical family in Phoenix and one I look forward to being with every week. I have such a respect and admiration for the organization and for each person in the group and am humbled to call them my colleagues and my friends. It is so gratifying to sing with an ensemble I have respected for years and to be able to call myself a member of such a special musical family.

If you could meet any other artist/musician who would it be? Why? What would you do together?
Jacob Collier. I'd love jam with him and talk about his music theory ideas.

What’s you motto or the advice you live by?
Soli Deo gloria, “Glory to God”

My goal is to find 30 people to give $60 in 30 days between March 9 to April 7, 2019.

Your support brightens our future, thank you!
